It's been a while since I finished any paint your owns. Since the middle of October I have finished five.

I got home a couple hours ago. I ended up staying last night as well. Gave me a chance to visit with a friend I would have missed otherwise. It also let me go check on Piet at the hospital. He had an infection in his right knee that had spread across his tibialis anterior (the muscle lying mainly on the front of the lower leg). The pain was so bad ( Read more... )

So this is the time of the month I hate mail wise...junk mail time. True it's not bills, but it be nice to see something other than junk mail. So I've been working on the PYO wolf some this week. In case you've missed something I scrubbed all the paint off since then and tried again. The blue jay coloration looked even worse the second time around so it got scrubbed a second time. Both times I was trying to paint the blue jay idea the PYO was screaming you will paint me black.

So livejournal has been seeming pretty dead lately, with almost no one posting anything. I know I haven't been up to much myself and that's why I haven't posted.

Well it's almost 6 p.m. and druidmage hasn't gotten home from the latest training exercise. Don't really expect him in until sometime tomorrow now based off an email he sent earlier in the week and all he said was "Friday or Saturday".

Well the wolf looks a little more like the drawing now. Of course I took some liberties with it. It's sitting on the stove right now so it can dry. Well I'm finally getting up the guts to start working on the PYO Winged Wolf I got from Windstone Editions. I haven't started before now because I was scared of the paints I had bought (liquitex acrylics - cost roughly $3-4 a tube).
